Canada often left out of the crosshairs by terrorists has now come to the forefront of radical Islamic terrorism and as a result pushed the red flags higher here in Michigan.

Canadian authorities identified the shooter on the Parliament complex in Ottawa that left one soldier dead, a 32 year old Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, a recent convert to Islam. Zahaf-Bibeau had his passport confiscated by Canadian authorities because he was considered an extreme risk.

The shooting, which left the nation's capital on lockdown, came just two days after a terror attack in Quebec. In that attack an Islamic terrorist deliberately drove over two Canadian soldiers killing one.

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper was whisked away to a safe location as Royal Canadian Mounted Police converged on the complex.

The question now, with questionable border security in America, is are we in Michigan next for an attack by Islamic terrorists? It seems we should be concerned and vigilant to say the least.
