In a list of the "Snowiest Cities with a Population of 100,000 People or More", Four Michigan cities are in the Top 25 with Grand Rapids near the top of the list.

Perhaps the bird was trying to get a good look at the chilly forecast. Maybe that bird wanted a better view of traffic.
