Under MCL 257.677a(2)-(4), it is illegal for snow, ice or slush to fall into either the roadway or the shoulder in such a way that a motorist’s vision is impaired. That law, like it or not, stands for all Michigan drivers.

A winter storm & plenty of snow is coming to town this week. With that in mind, East Lansing's City Manager declared a snow emergency & reminds us that there's no street parking during that time.
So far, the forecast says that we could see a big snowstorm come through Michigan next week. However, this is Michigan, and weather can change on a dime...so we'll see if we get a snow storm or snow flurries.
