Two West Michigan based businesses are being threatened by the State Attorney General’s office with a cease and desist order. The two have been offering what they call a “coronavirus defender patch”.
The scams include websites selling fake products, fake cures, and fabricated emails, texts and social media posts used to steal money and personal information.
The complaints accuse Paul Steury of selling sick puppies and adult dogs and providing false documentation of the breed, age, health, and vaccination histories.
Reports surfaced earlier this week that Michigan’s Attorney General Dana Nessel was suspending the department’s criminal investigation into Michigan State University’s handling of complaints against serial sexual abuser Larry Nassar. Nesell is now saying that is not quite right.
