Mid-Michigan could see severe weather Thursday night, with damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes possible. Storms are likely between 10pm and 2am.

Updated forecasts now show even more of Michigan at risk of severe storms on Friday. Large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes are all possible.

It's a weird weather week in West Michigan. In addition to high temperatures, another Air Quality Alert has been issued due to the Canadian Wildfires. There's also the risk of severe weather on Wednesday.

For every time someone in Michigan has said, "It's a beautiful day, there is no possible way the weather could turn ugly", The Mitten State has answered, "Hold my Faygo".

Storms moved through West Michigan on Tuesday evening, brining rain, hail and a lot of lightning. This incredible light show could be seen from over 50 miles away!

Severe weather and wind gusts over 60 mph are possible late Tuesday afternoon for much of Michigan's Lower Peninsula.
