WILX.com reports that three local police agencies responded to an armed robbery at Westlund's Apple Market on East Grand River Avenue Friday evening.

According to the report, police were called around 6:30 PM Friday evening after a person, described as an older male, showed a weapon during the robbery of the supermarket.

No injuries were reported, and it's not known whether the suspect made away with anything from the store.

A police canine unit was called to track the suspect, but was not successful.
