Subaru Issues Recall On more Than 366,000 SUV’s For Airbag Malfunctions
WLNS.com reports that Subaru is issuing a recall affecting more than 366,000 of its Forester sport-utility vehicles.
The recall affects 2015-2018 Subaru Forester models. According to the report, the targeted issue is a potential malfunction with the electric sensor for passenger airbags, A connection may come loose, rendering the sensor unable to detect passenger seat occupancy.
The issue seems to be limited to SUV's specifically with heated seats. Subaru will begin notifying affected model owners on November 29, 2019.
