Southern Mid-Michigan Commuters Face I-94 Lane Closures

There is another major construction project on a major travel artery in Mid-Michigan, according to a report from WILX.com.

I-94 will see lane reductions beginning Friday night at 9:00 PM as bridge repairs resume at the Dancer Road viaduct near Chelsea. One lane of eastbound I-94 will remain open to traffic, while Dancer Road itself will completely close to traffic until the project is completed.

Despite the one lane of traffic remaining open on eastbound I-94, Michigan Department of Transportation officials encourage an alternate route to travellers as delays of 30 to 60 minutes are anticipated during peak driving times.
