Governor Rick Snyder made his plans known last week that he was seeking reelection and today he's already on the campaign trail taking a plea directly to those who could help usher him into a second term.

The governor is taking his message directly to voters touting the accomplishments of his term in office and outling ideas to move the state even further toward recovery.  He claims Michigan has created more than 200,000 new jobs under his direction and has created a budget surplus out of what was once a budget deficit.

Snyder began the two-day, six-city sweep today in Detroit.  He then travels back to Lansing before heading off to Grand Rapids.Tomorrow, the governor is set to visit Traverse City, Frankenmuth and Farmington Hills.
