WILX.com reports that the National Weather Service has officially deemed six Metro Detroit entertainment venues as "StormReady."

Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, DTE Energy Music Theater, Meadow Brook Amphitheater, Freedom Hill Amphitheater, and The Fox Theatre have all been certified by NWS for their severe weather emergency plans.

According to the report, for a venue to be stamped "StormReady", it must meet a list of criteria. There must be a 24-hour emergency operations center running. Additionally, the venues need to promote public awareness and readiness train severe weather spotters, and hold emergency drills.
