Report: Juwan Howard To Become U-M Coach
Multiple media outlets are reporting that the University of Michigan has hired former Wolverine Juwan Howard (pictured) as the school's new head men's basketball coach.
Howard played at Michigan from 1991-94, and was a member of Michigan's Fab Five that went to two straight national championship games in 1992 and 1993.
Howard reportedly gets a five-year deal to take over for John Beilein, who left to become the head coach of the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers last week.
Juwan played for 19 seasons in the NBA after leaving Michigan, and has been an assistant coach for the Miami Heat since his retirement from the NBA in 2013.
