Record Cold Rips Into Town

I woke this morning to actual air temperatures of -16! Wow that would have been tough enough but there was also a stiff breeze pushing the wind chill factors to 35 degrees below zero and beyond.

Lets be honest once the temperatures are that low does it really matter? No. It is seriously cold and can be downright dangerous.

In New York City it is the coldest day in 22 years. Yeah it’s the coldest day in more than two decades. I wonder how the Global Warming, the sky is falling we are all going to be flooded out crowd will tell us how record cold is actually proof it’s getting hotter.

I’d give that more thought but right now I have to go outside- yep outside, to bring in more wood to fill the firebox. It is going to be a long night and I’m gonna give all I’ve got even though it is cold as hell.
