Nuthouse Closes Because Some Employees Test Positive For COVID-19
The Nuthouse Sports Grill has long been famous for their big double bar that wraps around the middle of the restaurant, their happy hour and great food and drink and the world's biggest lug nut just outside on that chimney up above that towers over Michigan Avenue and South Cedar.
Well now, unfortunately The Nuthouse has fallen victim to COVID-19. According to the Lansing State Journal, the bar/restaurant has now closed temporarily because two employees have tested positive. Both of the employees who tested positive were asymptomatic.
Also according to The Nuthouse Sports Grill Facebook page:
Out of an abundance of caution, and in the best interests of guest and employee health and safety, we immediately closed to thoroughly sanitize the restaurant. This is in addition to the deep cleaning that takes place each day. All employees have been tested and we have reinforced our health and safety protocols.
We are staying in contact with the Ingham County Health Department and the restaurant will reopen as soon as we feel we can do so responsibly. Our Nuthouse team looks forward to serving you, in a safe, socially-distanced way.
