New Phone Scam Going Around Lansing-Area

Here we go again, the Clinton County Sheriff's office is now warning people of another phone scam involving the Michigan State Police. According to the post below, the scammers are calling numbers and saying they are from the Michigan State Police and asking for donations to the department under your name. After this the scammer will ask for your credit card number, and to donate about $20. But once you have given up your credit card number you are pretty much dunzo in a scam like this.
