When you think of Culver's Restaurant, you think of delicious frozen custard, butterburgers and cheese curds.  You might be able to get your fix of all three in Charlotte by the end of the year.

The demolition of a used auto dealer building on Lansing Street could make way for a new Culver's restaurant at the property.

The approximately 4,000 square foot eatery and drive through is slated to be built on one and a half acres at 520 Lansing Street, where a Davis Auto Mart building currently sits.

The restaurant's owner and operator, Matt Amero, hopes to start construction of the 100 seat restaurant this summer and open it by the end of the year.  The project is expected to cost more than $1 million.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
