Namaste Sober: Yoga, Art, and the Road To Recovery On Sept. 11th
Namaste.
Greetings.
Peace to you.
Some people practice yoga to achieve inner peace. To get their mind and body in harmony. Achieve calm. Focus on their well being and more.
The quest to achieve a healthy mind and body together. Serenity.
Art also helps to achieve this calm. Whether you're painting or observing it, art can help with that inward focus. What do you see and how do you see it?
Peace. Serenity. Beauty. Looking inward.
Now let's take all these principles and apply them to those suffering with alcoholism and addiction.
Achieving that peace and serenity not through a substance or chemical, but through yoga and art.
And that bring us right back to...
