The National Weather Service says that the Lansing area will see some more rain this afternoon and there's also a threat for some heavy rainfall tonight and into Wednesday. Along with the chance for some locally heavy rainfall, there's also the chance for some strong to severe storms. The National Weather Service says that the biggest threat with the storms later today and tonight will be the possibility of some flooding and some damaging wind gusts. The NWS would like to remind anyone "living near recreating on the rivers this week should pay extra attention this week as we are likely to see the highest water levels since last spring." A Flood Watch is in effect tonight through Wednesday night for Clinton, Ionia and Gratiot Counties. Additional heavy rainfall in the forecast tonight through tomorrow--on top of the heavy rainfall that those areas received over the weekend--could cause some flooding. Click here to see more.

After today, the temperatures will start to feel a little more like fall as highs later in the week will only be in the mid to upper 50s. Here's the 7-day forecast.
