First built back in 1867, the bridge is only 120 foot long, built with wood. The Whites Bridge is one of only three covered bridges that are open to the public for vehicles to drive across.

Unfortunately, the bridge was burned to the ground in 2013, so the current erected bridge is not original to its 1867 build.
