Michigan’s Betsy DeVos Clears Committee

It was just announced that Michigan's own Betsy DeVos, nomination for Education Secretary, has just been moved to the full Senate.

The senate committee voted of course along party lines 12-11 to move her nomination to the full Senate.

Now her nomination moves to the entire Senate for a vote. The Republicans have a two seat edge in the Senate which means her nomination in the full Senate will more than likely pass.
