Michigan Woman Arrested For Allegedly Stealing Birthday Cake

This 57-year-old Woodhaven, MI woman got the gift that will keep on giving.

The suspect allegedly took a watch out of its packaging and placed it in her coat pocket.  Then just walked over to the bakery and picked up a birthday cake and attempted to exit the story like nothing happened.

According to thenewsherald.com,

...she admitted to stealing the watch and cake, telling officers it’s her niece’s birthday and she wanted to get her something, but didn’t want to pay for it.

The cake was valued at about $20 and the watch about $8.

Just yesterday we reported on a story of an angry Ohio woman getting in trouble with the law after throwing a cake at a Dairy Queen.  But this story really takes the cake.  See what I did there?
