According to WILX, Michigan's unemployment rate has dropped down to a 4.2%, rather than a 4.3% in July.

Statistics released by the state on Wednesday show that the total employment rose to 4,000 while the number of those jobless here in Michigan slipped down to 1,000 month by month.

Back in August, the national unemployment rate was 3.7% for three months in a row, which is at its lowest in five decades.
