We've all seen the crazy size of line jammed into the parking lot of fast food places, especially when it's starting to get late. The term 4th meal was made famous by Taco Bell, which is a favorite stop for people with the late night hunger. Having grown up on the east side, I know how packed those things get and truth be told, it's known to be a place to grab food to sober up. One man in Troy recently just didn't make it in time, as he ended up passing out while in a running car in the drive thru.

Local 4 covered the incident which took place in the early morning hours of July 16th:

Officers were called at 2:33 a.m. July 16 to the Taco Bell at 41167 Dequindre Road in Troy. They had received reports of a black 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck stopped in the middle of the drive-thru. When police arrived, a 28-year-old Sterling Heights man was asleep at the wheel. An officer said it took several attempts knocking and yelling loudly to wake the man.

Obviously when they got the 28 year old man awake they could smell booze on his breath, which is when they administered a sobriety test. He ended up blowing a .174%, which is when he told the cops, "Man, I'm drunk.", He also got a result of .114% after the chemical test took place.

I feel bad for the guy, but this isn't the first time craziness has gone down in a fast food restaurant. Here are some other insane stories you've probably read about in recent months:
