WILX.com is reporting that Mercedes-Benz is issuing a major recall on some of its luxury models.

Some 750,000 vehicles are being recalled over an issue with sunroofs that may detach and fly off in travel.

The affected models are C-Class, E-Class, CLK-Class, and CLS-Class vehicles. All affected cars are from the 2001-2011 model years.

Owners can expect to be notified by the automaker around February 14 if their vehicles need to be inspected. If so, the inspection and any repairs or replacements will be made at no charge to the owner.
