Men Charged in Whitmer Kidnapping Plot Get Explosives Charges
More charges have been added to three of the men who were involved in the kidnapping plot of Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
I am still amazed about a bunch of guys thought they could get away with kidnapping and possibly killing the governor of Michigan, but there are charges that have been added to three of the men that happen to do with the use of a weapon of mass destruction. This case gets crazier as we get more details.
According to FOX 17, 40-year-old Adam Fox of Wyoming, Michigan, 45-year-old Barry Croft Jr of Bear, Delaware and 23-year-old Daniel Joseph Harris of Lake Orion, Michigan, are charged with knowingly conspiring to use weapons of mass destruction against persons or property in addition to the kidnapping conspiracy charges that occurred in October of 2020.
What is so crazy about these new charges is that they allege that Croft, Fox and Harris had plans to destroy a bridge that would cause problems for Whitmer's security detail during the alleged kidnapping of her.
It is mind boggling to think that because of a health issue that involved a pandemic drove a group of people to try and kidnap the person trying to keep us safe from the unknown of what COVID-19 was capable of. These guys had to know there were consequences in something this over the top.
Anytime you posses any type of high end explosive, you have to be registered with the National Firearms Registration which is required by federal law. The next question is, how did they obtain the explosives and will the person or persons involved in having the explosives get charged as well?
These men are all facing life in prison and as the FBI continues their investigation, who knows who else may get charged or what they uncover about the current men in custody who were involved in the alleged kidnapping plot against the mitten states governor.
