Mandatory Quarantine for East Lansing Rental Properties
How difficult is it to follow simple rules when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic? Wear your face mask, stay 6 feet apart, continue social distancing. Most of us get it but then there are others who don't seem to focus on following certain protocols.
According to the Lansing State Journal, there is a mandatory quarantine warning for 30 large East Lansing rental properties.
Authorities are prepared to enforce it and they will take more steps to control the coronavirus if they don't comply.
Ingham County Health Officer Linda Vail said "the numbers are bad. Out of 2,709 coronavirus cases in Ingham County since March, 980 were identified in the first two weeks of September. And the majority of those 980 are likely Michigan State University students." (LSJ)
Linda Vail wants everyone to know that there is a crisis in Ingham County right now based on that.
MSU students need to take responsibility when it comes down to keep not only themselves safe, but everybody else around them. And that also means staying away from careless parties where students come in contact with others and then start spreading this deadly virus.
Vail recently issued an emergency order mandating residents in 30 large rental properties in East Lansing quarantine for two weeks. (LSJ)
Contact tracers had identified either a COVID-19 case of instance of direct COVID-19 exposure, like when a contagious person attends a house party at every property on the list.
