Man Named Lansing Passes Peacefully in New York

I can't honestly say I have ever heard of a person with Lansing as their first name. Until this weekend, when I found out he just died a few days prior.

Lansing George Elliott was not a nickname, it was his real name. Lansing loved reading and gardening. He passed away peacefully with his loving, devoted wife of 70 years by his side. He taught 3 generations how to grow their own garden.

Lansing lived to be 94. May he rest in peace.
