Liberals Are What They Despised

In the 1960’s liberals attacked the Democratic National Convention in Chicago with slogans like “question authority”. Now they have become the very domineering, intrusive, over-reaching, over-bearing government they once opposed.

The party of free speech is now the party that demands safe spaces and refuses to hear anything it doesn’t agree with. I was talking to some old friends over the weekend who said their two daughters who are both in there twenties will not even talk about anything they don’t agree with. For real.

If these fragile little angels are confronted with any idea they don’t already embrace they will shut their parents down altogether and refuse to even have a discussion. This is a very bad omen for America. If we cannot permit others to share their ideas and instead shout them down or walk away, how do we ever expect to solve real problems?
