LGR Plant Set For Three Week Shutdown

General Motors announced Monday that Lansing’s Grand River Assembly Plant will shut down operations for three weeks, beginning on Monday. GM says the temporary closure is necessary to meet supply and demand. The plant assembles the Cadillac ATS and CTS. Both models saw a sharp dive in sales during the month of June. Nearly 1400 employees will be affected the stoppage.
