The Detroit Free Press is reporting that Michigan State Basketball guard Joshua Langford is out indefinitely, after a setback in his recovery from a foot injury last December.

According to the report, Langford is out until at least January when his injury will be re-evaluated. The news is the latest setback for Langford who has battled recurring ankle and foot injuries since an initial injury against Northern Illinois last season ahead of conference play.

The expected return of Langford this season to the Spartans roster was a key component in MSU being ranked as the Preseason Number 1 team in the AP Poll for the first time in history. Prior to his injury last season, Langford was averaging 15 points per game and was shooting north of 40 percent from 3-point land.
