Kia Recalling Nearly 200,000 Vehicles For Fuel Leak And Fire Potentials
WILX.com is reporting that Kia is recalling more than 193,000 of its models due to a fire potential.
A fuel leak is increasingly possible on some 2013 and 2014 Kia Optima models. Those with 2.4-liter direct fuel injection or 2-liter direct injection turbocharged engines are being targeted, as are 2011 and 2012 Sedona minivan models.
According to the report, a fuel injector rail could possible crack from heat exposure, causing a gs leak, and therefore, leading to a potential vehicle fire.
The no-cost replacement by Kia dealers is set to begin in mid-April. For full details, visit this link to WILX.com.
