It's official, JetBlue is the first-ever airline to require passengers to wear face masks while traveling.

According to NBC News, starting May 4, passengers will be required to wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth during the duration of each flight and also during check-in, boarding and deplaning.

To be honest, I'm amazed it's taken this long for an airline company to decide to do this. We can only hope other airline companies will follow suit. I know I would feel a hell of a lot safer knowing other passengers were doing their part to keep everyone safe while traveling. At the end of the day, that's what it boils down to...safety for all.

JetBlue's really been doing a great job at being proactive during this pandemic by making their flight crew wear masks and by reducing the number of seats available on flights.
