Jackson County Animal Shelter Latest To Drop Adoption Fees

Add Jackson County's animal shelter to the list of over-capacity facilities. WLNS.com is reporting that the county's animal shelter is an estimated 300 animals over last year's population.

As a result, the shelter has lowered its adoption fees hoping to free up some space and resources. County officials said that their cat facilities are maxed out and the dog population is pushing its canine facilities near it max point. Discounted adoption fees run through October 8.
