It’s Nearly Impossible to Book a Room at this Michigan Resort
It seems as if Saugatuck, MI is the new hot spot in the state to take a vacation. How difficult it is to book this resort in particular only proves the theory.
You know the struggle is real when Detroit Lions players have difficulty booking somewhere. Linebacker Malcom Rodriguez's wife, Kennedy Frazer, took to her Instagram story to post about her excitement when she was finally able to book a weekend stay at Saugatuck's Lake Shore Resort.
Lake Shore Resort, located south of Saugatuck, offers a unique lakeside experience with stunning views of Lake Michigan. Nestled on a forested, sloping property, the resort features a heated pool, Adirondack chairs for sunset views, and direct access to salt-free waters. Established in 1952 and now family-run, the resort's modern rooms, renovated in the past four years, offer lake views and a range of accommodations. Amenities include complimentary bike rentals, morning yoga, free kayaks, and nearby hiking trails. The resort provides a hearty breakfast and operates seasonally from mid-April to late October, making it ideal for romantic getaways or group retreats.
I decided to head over to the Lake Shore Resort website and see when the next available booking is. Here is a screenshot of the coming week that perfectly depicts how hard it is to book a stay here:
Yeah, it'll be a while if you want to stay at the resort. Luckily, they have a waiting list.
Other important things to note about the resort before booking your stay is that it does not allow children under the age of 13, and there are no pets allowed. So, get the sitters ready!
