Michigan Woman Wins $100K Playing Keno While Waiting for Lunch
A stop for lunch turned into big money for this Michigan woman.
A 44-year-old Michigan woman, Angela Antico, decided to stop for lunch at a restaurant in Chesterfield Township. While waiting for her order, Antico decided to play Club Keno from the Michigan Lottery and won big.
In Club Keno, each player makes a number of different choices while playing, such as how many numbers per draw and bones games like The Jack and the Kicker. Antico was in the right place at the right time as all of her numbers appeared with a massive multiplier.
We watched the drawing, and it was hard to believe what we were seeing. We started yelling, and soon everyone in the place knew we’d won. It is amazing how many people will base their food destinations based on whether or not a place has Keno. I am one of them. On Friday, some friends and I did just that. Unfortunately, none of us had as much luck as Antico. I ended up losing six bucks.
Based on what I know of Keno, this Macomb County woman must have been playing an 8-spot game with the Kicker. Matching all eight numbers in this game wins you $10,000. The cherry on top must have been a 10x Kicker to land her the $100,000 prize.
