The long Labor Day weekend is here and Michigan is set to see some great weather. That might mean you want to take the family to the beach for one last outing for the summer of 2023. Just make sure your favorite beach is open and clean before you go.

The weather is going to be perfect for this holiday weekend. On Saturday we will see highs in the mid-80s. Sunday we can expect some sunshine and temps cracking into the 90s. Labor day itself will also be great with temps in the 90s and more sun. The 90 degree with will also stick around through Wednesday as well.
With over 1,000 beaches in the state, there is no shortage of fun in the sun. However, some Michigan beaches are notorious for being closed, much of the time due to contamination. Check out the shortlist below of Michigan beaches that have advisories.
