Strange Matter Coffee Announces New Location on MSU Campus
Students and staff at Michigan State University who love what Lansing's Strange Matter Coffee Company offers won't have to look further than their own campus for their favorites soon.
Strange Matter Coffee announced in an Instagram post that the business plans to open a location on the first floor of the MSU Union beginning in the Fall 2023 semester.
Despite referring to the space as small, Strange Matter pledged to offer its "full menu of drinks, as well as our fresh made vegan doughnuts, scones, cookies, and other treats."
News of the future location was met with excitement from MSU students and staff.
Comments from fans on Instagram included:

Amazing! What a gift to Spartan Nation.
Awesome to see. The Union is such a great space and will benefit from your energy and care.
Just a few weeks ago, Strange Matter Coffee Company announced the coming expansion of its existing space in downtown Lansing on Washington Square. You can read more about that here.
Previous plans for another expansion within the old Temple Building in Lansing's Old Town have been scrapped, according to Strange Matter Coffee via an Instagram post.

Strange Matter Coffee won't be the first business to feature a food/drink space within the MSU Union. The building currently offers a handful of dining options in its Food Court, including The Roost, Street Tacos and Unbelieva-Bowl. Biggby Coffee also maintains a location within the MSU Union, and Sparty's operates an express location that offers "a variety of grab-and-go options and convenience items".
