This is the Funniest Thing Happening on Lansing’s Subreddit
As a resident of Lansing, I think one of the best things that you could do for some good laughs is to join the Lansing subreddit. There is something particularly hilarious happening, and it all has to do with the Pennsylvania Avenue Bridge.
For those not from the Lansing area, or someone living under a rock in Lansing, let's get into a little back story: The Pennsylvania Ave Bridge is particularly short. Like, really short.
*How short is it?*
It's only 12 feet tall. And because the bridge is so short, it's often the cause of lots of accidents, like this recent accident where the bridge tore the roof off this trailer truck.

Actually, let me correct that... the short bridge isn't the cause of these accidents, it's drivers who aren't paying enough attention to all the warning signs and then still proceed to drive forward and attempt to drive under the bridge that is the cause of these accidents. And boy, are there a lot of accidents.
Which brings me to the hilarious thread happening on the Lansing subreddit right now.
User ZodiacCiphers made these hilarious stickers about the Pennsylvania Bridge, or Big Penny as they've so lovingly dubbed it, being hungry.
And do you know who commented in the thread? The Pennsylvania Avenue Bridge itself!
Someone created a satirical account for the bridge. That, or it became sentient and gained a decent Wi-fi signal. And the comments are just so funny.
I hope you enjoyed a good laugh because of this. If you want more laughs, I would wholeheartedly suggest joining the Lansing subreddit and following the PennAveTrainBridge account. You'll thank me later.
Also, if anyone gets their hands on one of those neat stickers, will you please grab one for me? Thanks in advance!
