
Missing Jackson County Toddler Found Using Thermal Camera
There's a happy ending to report in the case of a Jackson County toddler who went missing over the weekend.
Authorities say the 2-year-old child from Blackman Township, Michigan, went missing from their home the evening of Saturday, April 5, wearing only a diaper. Amid air temperatures in the 40s, police searched for the toddler for over an hour without success.

Police then called in reinforcements in the form of heat-seeking technology employed by Michigan State Police.
Missing Toddler Found With Help of Thermal Camera
The MSP's helicopter unit "Trooper 2" sprang into action, using its thermal camera to locate heat signatures on the ground in the area where the toddler was thought to be.

The child was transported to a nearby hospital to be evaluated, but is expected to be just fine.
