This Isn’t the First Time ‘Love is Blind’ Will Be Filming in Michigan
Netflix recently announced that they were looking for singles in Michigan to cast for their next season of 'Love is Blind'. If you live in Michigan, are currently single, and don't mind being filmed for a reality dating show, this could be a way for you to find love.
'Love is Blind' is Looking for Michigan Singles
If you're interested in applying, there is a casting call. You have to answer a series of about 60 questions, submit pictures and links to your social media, as well as take a short video saying why you're ready to find love.
'Love is Blind' will show single men and women mingling, but not ever seeing each other or meeting face to face. They will form connections before ever seeing each other, and decide from there to get engaged, and perhaps say 'I Do' before the end of the experience.
However, this is the first time that 'Love is Blind' will be spending some serious time in Michigan.
Michigan Connection to 'Love is Blind'
Netflix is currently on Season 6 of 'Love is Blind', but all the way back in Season 2, there was a very cool connection to Michigan.
Back during filming for 'After the Altar' for Season 2, friends and cast members wanted to throw a party for fellow cast member, Natalie, as it was her 30th birthday. And even though filming earlier in the season took place in and around the Chicago area (where many of the cast members were from), they chose a place in New Buffalo, Michigan to throw the party.
Where did this swanky shindig take place? At Apple Blossom Resort.
Apple Blossom Resort is available on Airbnb and Vrbo, and it lives up to the name 'resort'. It can sleep up to 48 people, has a heated swimming pool, hot tubs, fire pits, and is pet and event friendly (that means weddings too).
