As we head into the holidays, some of us are, perhaps, making room for new items to come into the house. Anyone with a child knows how many items (toys) they already have, and how many more they're going to get from family and Santa this Christmas.

Rather than wait until you're bringing more stuff into your house before you get rid of some, now is an excellent time to take stock of what you have and what you don't need.

Items That Can Be Donated to the MSU Surplus Store

If there items you own that are in good shape and could have a second life with someone else, this is the perfect opportunity to take it to the MSU Surplus Store and Recycling Center.

Between reusable goods and recycling, there are lots of items that are accepted. Things like good, usable furniture, bicycles, books, DVDs, appliances, clothing, electronics, and Styrofoam.
