What Cities In Michigan Could Be Considered The Drunkest?
I've partied hard throughout Michigan, I'm a recovering alcoholic. I've spent a fair amount of time in these cities prior to my sobriety and I still visit them now. They can definitely put a few drinks back.
Ann Arbor
Ann Arbor is home to U of M. Anytime you have a major university like Michigan or Michigan State you will see an uptick in booze consumption, especially on game day. Ann Arbor is a great town with cool places to hangout.
East Lansing
East Lansing can party. East Lansing also doesn't know the limit. MSU has been in the national news several times over the past 25 years due to their drinking and the behavior that followed. Remember the riots? It's calmed down a bit in East Lansing.
Grand Rapids
For real? Grand Rapids is a blast and it's been named Beer City U.S.A. The only time I have seen people "bombed" was at the Van Andel Arena for a concert, otherwise GR seems to handle their booze okay.
These three cities could be the drunkest in Michigan, they are not. A different city in Michigan takes the #1 spot.
