Michigan Moms Love Dumping Their Stuff, Here are the Locations
Michigan has laws against dumping trash and toxic material. Michigan's dumping laws don't carry over into the household. Here's where Michigan moms love to dump their stuff the most.
Before this gets out of control, dads are also guilty of dumping their stuff at home. My wife is awesome and also my inspiration for writing this article. We are a great team and we both have places where we "dump" our belongings. I tend to dump my belongings in the garage on my tool bench. My wife finds anywhere convenient, often times right inside the doorway.
Given my experience at home with my wife, I am wondering if you have the same scenario going on at your home.
Top Locations for Michigan Moms to Dump Their Stuff
5. The Chair Nobody Sits In
The chair in the bedroom that nobody sits in. It looks nice but it has become the final resting spot for many items that are eagerly awaiting their proper placement. I'm guilty of this. If items have made it to "the chair", how important can they be?
4. Dining Room Table
The dining room table is a popular dumping spot for moms and the whole family. If the kids are done with their Gatorade, it finds a home on the dining room table instead of recycling. Our dining room table is out of sight, so goes the saying, out of sight out of mind.
3. Kitchen Counter
The kitchen receives the most dumping. It's easy for my wife to dump her stuff on the counter while she empties the dishes into the sink from her lunch that day. Then the stuff sits there.
2. Kitchen Table
Right across from the kitchen counter is the kitchen table. The table is the backup plan when the counters become full of clutter. Anything that is on the counter when meals are being prepped is moved to the table. Maybe we should put the stuff away.
1. Entry Table
This is the number one obvious choice. It's the first piece of furniture you have access to when you arrive home. It's right inside the front door and 6 feet from the garage door. Whenever we are looking for something there's a chance it will be on the entry table.
