A lot of movie have been filmed here in Michigan, like Batman vs Superman, however, we haven't seen a whole lot of new films being produced in our state. With that being said though, we have had our fair share of wins.

3.) Road to Redemption:

Road to Redemption came out back in 2002, and stars actors such as Tom Hanks, Daniel Craig and many others. The movie is about a mob enforcers son back in 1930 Illinois, who witnesses a murder of his father.

2.) Bowling For Columbine

Bowling for Columbine came out in 2002, and featured actors such as Michael Moore, Charlton Heston, even Marilyn Manson. It wasn't a scripted movie, but rather Michael Moore exploring the root of gun violence here in America.

1.) Coraline:

Coraline actually has a major cult following, and has resurfaced a lot in the past couple of years. Probably one of the most recognizable names on the list.

This featured a lot of big names, such as Dakota Fanning, Teri Hatcher, John Hodgman, and more.
