
Detroit Lions Star Brings Football Camp to Lansing
The Detroit Lions had another killer season last year and have turned the page around from our old 'typical' Detroit Lions team. The season has so much hype around it, that tickets can be extremely hard to get hold of for some games.

Lions’ Momentum Extends Beyond the Field
Not only have we seen them turn a new leaf in their football career, but team members are giving back to the Mid-Michigan communities. Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery hosted a youth football camp at Lansing Sexton High School, offering children aged 6 to 16 the opportunity to develop their football skills while engaging with a professional athlete.
From Cincinnati to the NFL
Montgomery, is a native of the Cincinnati, Ohio area, and attended Mount Healthy High School, where he excelled as a quarterback during his tenure there. He went on to continue his career at Iowa State University, showcasing an amazing 2,925 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns in three seasons.
Montgomery’s NFL Journey
Montgomery got his start in the NFL Draft, with the Chicago Bears selecting him. Montgomery spent four seasons with the Bears before transferring to the Detroit Lions in March of 2023.
On-Field Success and Off-Field Impac
During the 2024 season with the Detroit Lions, Montgomery recorded 775 rushing yards, with 12 touchdowns, contributing to some of the Lions' offensive success. Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs earned the nicknames "Kuckles" and "Sonic" after complementing each other's success on the field.
