The 1980s were a different time in Michigan. We answered every phone call with excitement, we answered ringing doorbells with the same exuberance, and we made sure we were home when the streetlights came on. Certainly, there are still some similarities between then and now, but the biggest difference is what you'd find in an '80s-era home that you rarely see today.

Your Childhood is Now an Exhibit at Michigan's Henry Ford Museum

I'm sorry, Generation X. Your childhood is officially a museum exhibit.
