Abandoned Gas Station: Undisclosed Michigan Location
Sometimes when it comes to an abandoned building, you just have to appreciate it...even when the location is not made available.
Many of the abandoned places I've featured don't list a location, as many are found by accident by the videographer, and they have the good sense not to reveal the location. This keeps away the vandals, squatters, and looters.....even though the photographers themselves end up being trespassers.
This abandoned Torco gas station is in one of those unknown Michigan locations. Even though the inside is empty, it doesn't look as if it's been looted or destroyed. However, the gas pumps that remain outside may have been stripped...not sure if it was done by vandals or the gas company itself.
The location appears to be in one of Michigan's small towns...and I have to admit, in all my years in Michigan – since the 1950s – I have never encountered a Torco gas station. This is a first.
