I never considered the possibility that someone might steal my car during a delivery, but that's exactly what happened to a DoorDash driver in Detroit on Friday night.

The entire incident was caught on the customer's Ring doorbell camera.

Michigan DoorDash Driver's Car Stolen While Dropping Off Order

In the video, the DoorDash driver, wearing a red shirt, drops off the food and steps back to take a picture as proof of delivery.

While he's focused on snapping the photo, you can see someone in the top left corner of the screen slowly approaching his car, which was left running.

Within seconds, the thief jumps into the driver’s seat and speeds off, leaving the DoorDash driver frantically chasing after his stolen car.

A few moments later, the woman who ordered the food steps outside, completely unaware of the drama that just unfolded.

Although many people on social media pointed out that the driver shouldn’t have left his car running, I can't help but feel bad for him.
