It seems like every single day without fail there's someone posting in a local Facebook group about a strange man or woman who was creeping around their place during the day or at night and that they seem very suspicious.

While there are some bad apples in Grand Rapids such as the Kia Boyz or porch pirates who grab deliveries from your front door and try to dash away without getting caught.

There are some people that might be creeping around your house, but it's actually for a good reason and you shouldn't be alarmed.

The City of Grand Rapids Water System shared on Facebook that it was National Public Works Week and that they wanted to introduce the City of Grand Rapids water meter reading team.

You will see them walking in your neighborhood and near your home.

They gather meter data from the black touch pads outside of your home.

Let's give a big shout out to the hard working men and woman of the Grand Rapids water meter reading team.
