Discover 600 Unique Beers At The 18th Annual Michigan Winter Beer Festival
Winter sucks, no matter how long you've been a Michigander. But there is one thing that can make us feel a little better about the freezing temperatures, and that's a beer. It may be cold, but it can warm you up just enough to make you forget how tired you are of shoveling snow.
One of the biggest beer events of the year is returning, the 18th Annual Michigan Winter Beer Festival is back in West Michigan on Saturday, February 24th. This year's event promises to be an unforgettable celebration of craft beer, presented by the Michigan Brewers Guild.
Limited tickets priced at $55 each are still available, offering 15 three-ounce sample tokens for attendees. With an impressive lineup of over 600 unique beers from 121 breweries it's an event beer enthusiasts won't want to miss. (Check their website to see the full list)
If you want to join in, the event is taking place from 1 pm to 6 pm at LMCU Ballpark, home of the West Michigan Whitecaps, in Comstock Park, just north of downtown Grand Rapids. The festival offers a day filled with beer, music, and camaraderie.
And if you want the most out of it, you should join the Michigan Brewers Guild. Members enjoy the added perk of early admission to all of their festivals, gaining access one hour before the general public. For those interested in becoming a member, enrollment is available for $35 on their website. Attendees can also partake in the cherished tradition of the Michigan Great Beer State Fight Song and Welcome Toast, scheduled for approximately 3:30 pm.
And don't worry- they'll have snacks for you to enjoy. The Whitecaps concessions team will be ensuring attendees have sustenance to accompany their beer-tasting adventure.
As an outdoor event, attendees are advised to dress appropriately for the weather. Fire pits will be scattered throughout the festival grounds for added warmth and ambiance. Rain or shine, the festivities will proceed as planned, with no refunds issued. Please note that all attendees must be 21 or older and present a valid ID for entry.
The Michigan Winter Beer Festival promises an unforgettable experience for beer lovers, blending a wide selection of brews with live music and delicious food in a lively outdoor setting.
