Could Bed Bath and Beyond Stores Be Returning To West Michigan?
Last year after Bed Bath and Beyond closed down all of their retails stores nationwide, several of them here in Grand Rapids became Spirit Halloween locations... but, I noticed this year, the one on alpine is remaining empty. Could it be for the return of Bed Bath and Beyond?
Kirkland’s is partnering with Beyond (the parent company that owns Bed Bath, and Beyond's brand) to bring Bed Bath & Beyond stores back to life after the chain’s closure.

As part of their revitalization plan, the new stores are expected to focus on offering stylish home furnishings, bedding, and decor, tapping into Kirkland’s reputation for affordable, quality pieces. Since Kirkland’s already has a loyal customer base in West Michigan, it wouldn’t be surprising to see one of these stores in our area when the revamped locations launch.
This exciting return could mean great things for local shoppers who missed Bed Bath & Beyond’s offerings. With Kirkland’s known for its elegant home décor, adding this partnership brings more variety and value to the community. Keep your eyes peeled—West Michigan could be in for a treat with these revamped home stores making their comeback!
While it’s not confirmed exactly where these new stores will pop up, there’s a good chance West Michigan could be on the list, especially since Kirkland’s already has two local stores in Walker and Holland.
Shoppers can expect updates in the near future as the partnership between Kirkland’s and Beyond takes shape, offering a new and improved shopping experience. Stay tuned for more details and keep West Michigan in mind as a potential hot spot for these new stores.
